Phoenix Forge

This website is still under construction. Pardon our dust.

Stamping Plates

Once running, Phoenix Forge will sell stamping plates – a tool adapted from the nail and beauty industry – to give miniature hobbyists and painters the ability to quickly and neatly apply squad markings and patterns to their minis.

Phoenix Forge was born from seeing what Goblin Hobbies was doing with their stamping plates and wanting two things:

  1. System-agnostic designs that would work for other IPs (e.g. Battletech)
  2. Something that was more accessible to someone in New Zealand

I still have not managed to solve the matter of getting air-cure stamping gels more accessible to those of us in Oceania, but it's a work in progress.

Phoenix Forge will launch with four designs, which you can see below. I'll also be selling the silicone stamps. All of these items can be shipped worldwide.

The target launch date is October 2026, but things might be operational sooner. If you want to be on a waiting list for the moment I get the back-end up and running, then please send me an email at:

If you have any ideas for similar designs, products, or something else (particularly if you're a kiwi) please email me at stamps@phoenixforge.nz.

Educational Tools

The whole reason I created Phoenix Forge is that I am changing careers to become a secondary school science teacher, and I need to pay my mortgage while I study. While I was on placement, I developed two tools for teaching science that I will also make available for purchase via the website.

The first is a set of jigsaw pieces labelled as ions (Year 10). This teaches students how ions bond and balance. The jigsaws will be made of acrylic or MDF to be tactile and long-lasting. I am trying to get these made locally in Christchurch for use in NZ classrooms.

The second tool is a set of small retractable locking tape measures that have magnets attached to their base, and an arrow head next to the measurement reading. These can be used on a whiteboard to demonstrate vectors in either maths or science classrooms at a whole variety of ages. This is the one that gets me excited.
